Christopher J. Geier, Attorney at Law

Christopher J. Geier brings extensive legal experience and a strong commitment to protecting the rights of his clients. The son of a U.S. Army officer, he was born in Nuremberg, Germany, and grew up across the United States and Europe.

Mr. Geier earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1995. He later pursued his law degree at Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 2002 and passing the Washington State Bar that same year. Shortly after, he joined the United States Army as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, serving at Fort Stewart, GA; Hunter Army Airfield, GA; and Camp Taji, Iraq.

In 2006, Mr. Geier passed the South Carolina Bar and transitioned to civilian practice, starting his legal career in Bluffton, SC. By 2010, he had established his own law office in Beaufort, SC, where he has been serving clients ever since.


Extensive Legal Experience & Strong Advocacy

With a background as a JAG Corps prosecutor and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, Mr. Geier has extensive courtroom experience. He uses this experience to provide strong legal representation for clients facing serious legal challenges, including:

  • Personal Injury
  • Civil Litigation

In addition to his work as a former prosecutor, Mr. Geier has experience as an insurance defense attorney, giving him valuable insight into how insurance companies handle claims. This knowledge is a significant advantage for plaintiffs pursuing personal injury cases and for clients involved in civil litigation, including contract disputes, construction claims, and other legal matters.

Beyond his legal work, Mr. Geier has also contributed to his local community, serving as:

  • Board Member of Mainstreet Beaufort (2014 – 2016)

Jaime Rodriguez

Jaime Rodriguez is Mr. Geier's Secretary and Legal Assistant. After being born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jaime has called the Lowcountry home for over 15 years.

Jaime studied at the Technical College of the Lowcountry's Paralegal Program and she has been a part of our team since July of 2015.

Jaime is typically the first person you will speak to when you call our office. She is smart, friendly, very knowledgeable in Mr. Geier's areas of practice and is a valuable member of the team.
